The POW 160 & 172 are absolute top sellers and made it into countless vehicles. Now ETON offers the chance to to add absolute and detailed midrange reproductions to this power.. With the new 8cm PRW 16 the 2-way turns into a 3-way system.
The strong ferrit magnet with cooling stands for clearest reproduction, the power is a main aspect of all POW series - so it is here.
The PRS 165.2 and PRS 165.3 are delivered with a high-quality crossover, which is equipped with elaborately designed air coils and premium foil capacitors. Here, too, two-stage midrange filtering with level adjustment of 6 dB / 12 dB is possible.
The 80 mm midrange drivers score with their hand-coated paper diaphragm and the stiffened metal basket, which has a high stability. The whole system is driven by a strong ferrite magnet with optimized magnetic field symmetry. The well ventilated metal basket and the ventilated coil carrier with the large core bore ensure sufficient cooling even at high levels. This ensures detailed mid-range and high efficiency, including a cover grid.
